| BATON ROUGE - The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute, or OLLI, at LSU proudly announces the release of its new Fall 2009 Course Bulletin. The 22-page catalog, which is available online, features more than 50 courses on a number of subjects ranging from literature, the creative arts, history, science, food, languages and contemporary issues. OLLI at LSU is a membership based learning community of adults ages 50 and over. There are no exams or grades at OLLI at LSU and its comprehensive collection of courses provide a chance for students to investigate interesting topics in a relaxed but stimulating educational and social environment. OLLI at LSU has more than 800 seasoned learners in the greater Baton Rouge area and includes three chapters - Lagniappe Studies Unlimited Chapter in Baton Rouge, St. James Place Chapter in Baton Rouge and Felicianas Chapter in St. Francisville.
