How to Apply:

Fill out the online application linked below and provide with it the appropriate attachments

In the application you will be required to provide the following attachments:

  • A letter of application stating why you believe you possess the skills that would enable you to assist other students in their communication pursuits. Please include examples of previous employment and projects or coursework completed that helped you develop these skills.
  • A resumé listing permanent and local contact information, communication experience, and a list of academic and employment references with contact information.
  • Communication samples (in .pdf, .doc, or hyperlinks) that demonstrate your ability in the areas in which you would like to mentor: written, spoken, visual, and/or technological. You only need one sample for each.

If a position is available, someone from CxC will contact you.

Because the availability of positions is partially determined by the number of returning mentors, you should re-apply every semester if you are not hired the first time you seek employment as a CxC Mentor.
