Outcomes assessment: The accreditation process
- This section of the American Accounting Association's Outcome Assessment Committee Report is a good overview of how regional and professional associations have incorporated assessment into their accreditation processes. The number of associations with assessment among their accreditation criteria has increased since then, but this 1992-93 report captures the flavor very well.

Using the Web for student evaluation of courses and faculty

- CourseMetric, SENATE, and surveymaker.com are commercial systems for web-based course evaluation.
- Examples of online-evaluation sites: The online forms are restricted to the institution's students. When results are presented, they are usually restricted to the institution's students, faculty, and staff, although a few are open to public view. Some sites include instructions with information about the institution's online evaluation process.
- FAST (Free Assessment Summary Tool), from Bruce Ravelli, Mt. Royal College.
- Web survey for student feedback, for classroom assessment during the course of a term.
