 | The Louisiana State University Institute for Partnerships in Education (LSUIPE) uses the resources of LSU to strengthen PK-16+ academic achievement and to foster student excellence in cooperation with public and private schools throughout the State of Louisiana. Part of the mission of the LSUIPE was to create an inventory of LSU's involvement in elementary and secondary education and with children of PK-12 age. The following database does not include all of the efforts of LSU personnel to promote PK-12 education but it does contain most of them. The entries are logged in by type of outreach project, major unit, in most cases the college in which the person or persons involved are housed, subject/content area, contact person or persons, type of resource, recipient client/level and school/agency involved. The entries provide a title, contact person, his/her telephone and e-mail address, brief description of the project, and funding source.
Individual faculty and staff of LSU are encouraged to input and edit the information related to their specific outreach projects in order to maintain an active inventory of LSU's PK-12 outreach projects.
