LSU is in the process of seeking Reaffirmation of Accreditation by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACSCOC) under the new Principles of Accreditation approved by the Commission in December 2001. The new Principles require the University to submit a Certification of Compliance with the Core Requirements and Comprehensive Standards.
Information to satisfy the Compliance Certification requirements will be submitted using the new format developed by the Commission. This consists of a Check-List for each Core Requirement and Comprehensive Standard. LSU is to certify its status on each item and provide appropriate documentation to justify the selected status as follows:
__ In-Compliance
__ In-Partial-Compliance
__ Out-of-Compliance
Documentation/justification:
The Compliance Certification will be submitted to the Commission in both electronic and limited hardcopy formats by August 15, 2003. As the Compliance Certification is developed, updates of the document will be posted on this website. Much of the information will be available to the general public while other elements will be posted on a secure section of the website for use by the Commission Off-Site and On-Site Review Teams. |
