The primary purpose of the Board is to serve as an advisory body to the Director, the Dean, and the Scientific Committee. Its primary responsibilities will include:
1. Program review.
2. Budget and financial review.
3. To promote and ensure the interdisciplinary character of the Center.
4. Develop and promote external relations and fund raising.
The Advisory Board will be composed of the Director of the Center, the Chair of the Department of French Studies, and a representative from the Office of Research and Graduate Studies (who will serve as the committee chair). In addition, there will be five external members.
The Advisory Board shall meet twice annually.
