2008 HAROLD MIXON MARDI GRAS CLASSIC
January 25th to 27th, 2008
Welcome to the 2007 Harold Mixon Mardi Gras Classic tournament web page. This year's Mardi Gras Classic offers NPDA, NFA-LD and IPDA debate and the standard 11 AFA-NIET events. The tab room will be run by Bob Alexander of the University of Louisiana at Monroe and Trey Gibson of Louisiana State University at Shreveport. There will be a break in the tournament’s schedule Saturday afternoon to give competitors a chance to experience some of the Mardi Gras festivities taking place in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and surrounding areas.
For the second consecutive year, we will also be hosting the Tri-State Championship Tournament which will run concurrently with the Mardi Gras Classic. Teams from Arkansas, Louisiana and Mississippi will be competing for their individual state championships. Contact Bob Alexander at
