Update: I am currently deployed in support of OIF III to Baghdad with the 3-7 Cavalry as a Troop Fire Support Officer. Fire Support Officer these days means functioning as the "Effects Based Operations Coordinator" meaning CMO and Information Operations as well. I am basically the Troop-level Intel and Civil Affairs Officer with an occasional Fire Support role. We've been here since late January and are looking forward to redeployment in two months. GARRYOWEN!

I graduated from LSU in 1981 and retired from the Army in 2005. My last three assignments were at DIA in Washington, as the US Defense Attache in the US Embassy in Uruguay and as the US Army Instructor at the Brazilian Army War College and CGSC. I have started a second career running an "OBC" for DIA. Anyone interested in a career at DIA should drop me an e-mail.
