 | Research Interests:
Johanna Dunaway specializes in political communication, the mass media, and public opinion. Specifically, her research focuses on the media as an institution, influences on political news content, and the impact of media messages on political attitudes and behavior. Some of her current research projects include papers on the institutional determinants of editorial bias in political news, newspaper coverage of Latino immigration issues, and the influence of comporate media ownership on political news content.
