 | Goals
The goals of CPERC are directed toward the improvement of current technology in power generation and emission reduction. Five focused efforts are proposed:
- Improving the efficiency and reliability of gas turbine systems used for power generation
- Reducing emissions from power generation and energy producing systems
- Effectively utilizing alternative fuels (synthetic gas, biomass, etc.) and alternative energy-generation technology
- Research and promotion of energy conservation issues
- Educating and training students and the public on energy, and power generation issues.
