 | Mission
The primary mission of the Clean Power and Energy Research Consortium (CPERC) is to provide a boost to ongoing research activities in Louisiana in the area of power generation and emissions control and to lead the nation in the development of new technologies for the power generation industry with specific emphasis on clean power generation. This will help lower energy costs, reduce emissions and improve reliability; and to provide the state and its industrial base an educated and trained workforce in all aspects of energy and power generation.
