The Employee Development Center

The EDC is currently located in the Facility Services Annex Building, Room 100 B-2.
This is located off South Stadium Road, next to Military Science and in front of the Office of Orientation.

The Employee Development Center is a partnership between LSU and the EBR School System. This is an adult education center that is open to public and LSU employees. The Employee Development Center provides services for all adults, 17 years or older, wanting to improve their educational skills. Whatever the reason, this center can help you achieve your goals.

The EDC offers assistance in adult education and GED preparation study sessions the following areas:

Reading,

Math,

Language

Instructions to participate in the LSU Employee Development/Adult Education Program:

Participant is placed in an appropriate class based on their current level of skill

Attend 12 sessions in a 12 week period

Receive a progress report at the end of 12 weeks

Re-register for the next 12 weeks

Adult Basic Education/GED Preparation Sessions
Tuesdays 4:15 p.m. – 5:45 p.m.
Thursdays 2:15 p.m. – 3:45 p.m.

Computer Based Adult Education Sessions
Available times (by appointment only)
Tuesdays 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Thursdays 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Thursdays 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
