Welcome to LSU's Department of Mechanical Engineering. The Department is home to about 300 mechanical engineering majors and 100 graduate students who study with 25 faculty. Our faculty is very research active and at the same time proud of its tradition of excellence in teaching at the undergraduate and graduate level.
