Description
Each organization will be assigned space in the Journalism Building. Mass Communication students studying advertising, journalism (broadcast and print), political communication or public relations will visit with employers to learn about the participating organizations; build relationships with professionals in the communications field; and find out about internship, part-time and/or full-time opportunities, if available.
- The purpose of this event is to facilitate networking among students and communications professionals, so many of the participating organizations do NOT have job openings.
- If you do have open positions, we encourage you to recruit students during the event.
NOTE: Interview rooms are available on Thursday, March 29 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. in Career Services at 1502 Patrick F. Taylor Hall. Companies participating in Networking Night at Manship are free to reserve a room in order to interview students of interest, conduct mock interviews, or to offer assistance by reviewing student resumes and portfolios.
*Space can be reserved through Careers2Geaux during the registration process.
NETWORKING NIGHT GOES SOCIAL
Check into Foursquare when you arrive at the event for an opportunity to win a lunch with student leaders from the LSU Manship School of Mass Communication.
