What
Construction Interviewing Day connects Construction Management and Civil and Industrial Engineering students and alumni with employers recruiting for full-time, part-time, internship and co-op positions.
Participating organizations will choose which students/alumni to interview from among those who submit résumés for consideration. What does this mean for you?
- Only students who are "preselected" will be able to schedule interviews.
- Students will not be allowed to add interviews based on vacant time slots--all interviews will be added by recruiters.

How

New this semester: All students who will participate in Construction Interviewing Day for the first time must attend one Info Session; dates are TBD. Students who have participated in an Info Session and CID in the past will automatically have access to schedule interviews.

 Pre-Event Timeline
By October 3
Any student who wants to participate in Construction Interviewing Day must attend one of six mandatory Info Sessions (see "How" section for dates and times). Students are encouraged to set up a résumé review by calling 225-578-1548 or using our online appointment scheduler.
Résumé Submission Period: October 3-9
Students/alumni who attended a mandatory Info Session (and those who are already eligible) will be able to submit their résumés (through Careers2Geaux) to all organizations of interest.
Employer Preselection Deadline: October 15
Recruiters will select those students for which they would like to extend (through Careers2Geaux) offers to interview.
Interview Scheduling: October 16-19
Preselected students will schedule interviews (through Careers2Geaux) with the employers that preselected them.
Interview Dates: October 23
What happens? Interviews are conducted on campus in the Cotillion Ballroom of the LSU Student Union.
