Career Assessments
An important part of the career decision making process is the identification of one’s interests, abilities, work values, and personality preferences. By increasing your self-awareness in these key areas, a more informed career choice can be made. To help you with this self-evaluation, Career Services offers multiple career assessments that can help you explore your strengths in these four areas. Click on the links below for information on these assessments. Included are test descriptions, test dates and times for the current semester, and information on how to register for these tests. For the tests that have fees, you can charge the fees to your fee bill, or pay by cash or credit card. If you would like to speak with a staff member to determine which test(s) would most benefit you, contact Career Services at 225-578-1548.
After you have completed an online assessment, we hope you will meet with a career counselor for an interpretation of your results. This is the best way to ensure that your participation in assessments is most fruitful to your career-planning efforts. To schedule an appointment with a Career Decision Making counselor, call 225-578-1548 or click here to use our online appointment scheduler, typically staffed 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
