Individual Appointments

Career Services' counselors and career consultants are available to meet with LSU students, faculty, staff and alumni. Any member of the community who is not affiliated with the University may schedule one appointment with a Career Services staff; community appointments are limited to ensure our staff can accommodate LSU's large campus community.

Career Services is housed in two locations: 1502 Patrick F. Taylor Hall (Employment Services) and B-4 Coates Hall (Student Services). Most individual appointments take place in B-4 Coates Hall.

Appointments are free for LSU students, faculty, staff and alumni within one semester of graduation
Appointments are $20 each for alumni who graduated more than one semester ago.
Appointments are free to alumni who registered for Careers2Geaux less than 30 days prior to their scheduled appointments.
Appointments are $30 each for community members

self-assessment through career testing; career assessment interpretation; counseling; information gathering

Experiential Education
cooperative education (co-ops); internships; summer jobs; part-time jobs; volunteer experiences

Job Search
graduate and professional school preparation; resume reviews; mock interviews; interview prep; networking help; job search strategies; job search correspondence

Employment Services
ethics in the recruitment process; participation in recruiting events

Communications
The Assistant Director of Communications is available to meet with media; students conducting informational interviews; and students completing class projects related to Career Services.
