Explore our site to learn more about how you can learn and serve at the same time or click here for a list of ALL COURSES in various departments this semester.
CCELL is now hiring Student Service-Learning Leaders. Learn more about these leadership roles and how you can get involved.
Service-learning classes offer hands-on learning in which you apply what you learn to make your community a better place. Additionally, through service to community partners, you gain knowledge that’s directly connected to the learning goals of the service-learning course you’re taking. If you would like to find out more about service-learning, please visit our FAQ page.
Here’s what some students have to say about their service-learning experience:
See the YouTube video in which 2010 Homecoming King and former Student Government President Stuart Watkins reflects on the impact service-learning had on his student experience.
"I thought the service-learning was a great idea. We need to know and understand that we can make a difference. I think it should be required."
"I feel like service-learning is very important in my education. It has helped me with leadership, communication, and working better with other people and ideas."
"The service-learning project required for this class has been an amazing experience. It has definitely made the class worthwhile and the experience unique but enjoyable."
