Residence Halls
We have halls located on either side of campus. Some halls are located near athletic facilities, some are located near academic buildings and some are located on the University lakes. Each year some halls may be unavailable due to renovation projects. Contact the Department of Residential Life to find out the availability of each hall.
Please choose a residence hall and take a look!
(See key chart below for definitions of column headings and symbols.)

Room Types
Residence hall rooms can generally be described in one of two ways. TRADITIONAL rooms, most common among the older halls, are usually large with high ceilings and free-standing furniture that you can arrange as you desire. All rooms are air-conditioned with window units in each room. MODERN rooms, common in newer halls with central air-conditioning, are more compact but maximize living space by using built-in furniture. Smoking is not permitted in rooms or any other areas in the residence halls.
Common Features
Most residence halls have ground floor lobbies and reception areas, kitchenettes and study rooms on each floor, and coin-operated laundries and vending machines. Larger buildings have change machines and coin-operated copiers. Standard cable TV service (78 channels) is provided if you bring a cable ready TV.
Furniture
Whether traditional or modern, all rooms offer single beds, study desks, bookshelves, and closet space. If you are assigned to a room with built-in furniture, you should not plan to bring extra furniture.
Responsibility for Personal Belongings
The University does not assume any responsibility for any of your personal property which is stolen, lost, or damaged. Please lock your room door at all times. |
