Conference Housing: Rates

Rates

Daily rates are assessed on a per night, per person basis. Daily rates include options for single or double occupancy.

Rates are subject to change. Payment for all charges related to the conference must come from the conference sponsor after the event. Payments may not be accepted for individual conference participants or sub-groups within the conference.

Groups have the option of an LSU internal transaction (IT) or invoice for final billing.

Billing

The conference group will be billed as a whole, upon completion of the conference, via the method selected on the housing reservation form. Minimum billing is $300 covered by the nonrefundable deposit.

All billings are due upon receipt.

Guaranteed Count
The guaranteed count for a conference is the number of participants expected to be housed with the Department of Residential Life for the conference. This number will be submitted on the Guaranteed Count Form to be turned in to the Department of Residential Life no later than 7 days before the conference arrives at LSU.

The group will be billed for the greater of the guaranteed count number provided on the Guaranteed count Form or the actual head count housed with LSU.

Deposit
A $300 nonrefundable deposit must be paid for a conference group to receive a housing reservation. The $300 deposit will be applied to the final bill.

Cancellation
A written notice of cancellation must be received by the Department of Residential Life to cancel a conference housing reservation. Upon cancellation, the housing deposit will be forfeited.

If the University cancels the camp due to circumstances outside of its control, including disasters, emergencies, damaged facilities, threats and severe weather, the conference will receive a full refund of the deposit.
