The Department of Residential Life
The Department of Residential Life at LSU provides housing accommodations to a variety of visiting groups, including youth, adult, athletic, and academic organizations. From mid-May through the first week of August, the department can accommodate approximately 3,300 guests in air-conditioned facilities throughout the summer. Conference groups may be housed during the other months of the year on a space-available basis. Accommodations are located across campus residence halls and our East Campus Apartment complex. Some facilities are located near the LSU Union and/or classroom buildings, while others overlook one of the campus’ beautiful lakes. Most residence halls have ground-floor reception areas. All residence hall rooms have two beds, desks, book shelves, and closet space. Telephone lines permitting local calls are available in each room; however, guests will need to bring their own telephones.
