 | REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Registrations are accepted only through the Leisure Class Office. Each class has an established enrollment limit and registrations are accepted on a first come, first served basis. Registrations are accepted until the class has started or has filled. Once registered, participants are not allowed to switch classes or sections.
Payment may be made by MASTERCARD / VISA, AMERICAN EXPRESS, personal check or cash. Register for Leisure Classes in Room 310 of the Student Union from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm. Phone-in, fax-in, and mail-in registration must be accompanied by a $1.00 handling charge. You will receive your receipt by mail. If the course has been filled at the time the registration form and fee are received, payment will be returned. Incomplete application forms will be returned. Please enclose a self-addressed, stamped envelope for return of receipt.
NO REFUND POLICY
Refunds will be issued only when a class is cancelled due to insufficient enrollment. In addition, Union membership is non-refundable.
UNION MEMBERSHIP
Save money on Leisure classes by becoming an LSU Student Union member! For $40 per year, your entire household can take advantage of discounted classes. Union membership is non-refundable.
CLASS PRICES
The first price listed is the discounted class fee offered to LSU students and LSU Student Union Members. The second price listed is the fee for all others.
Please have your LSU student ID or Student Union membership number present when you register for classes at the discounted prices.
PARKING
A parking permit, (hang tag) valid after 4:30 pm Monday through Friday, is available at registration. One permit will be issued per class member. Permits are not available to LSU students, faculty or staff. Lost parking permits will be replaced for a $13.00 fee. Hang tags are not required for classes that meet off campus or on weekends.
EMERGENCY RESCHEDULING
If the University closes due to emergency weather conditions, Leisure Class students should call our office at (225) 578-5119 to confirm the status of classes.
SPECIAL ACCOMODATIONS
If you are in need of special accommodations for a disability, please let us know at the time of your registration so that we may assist you. Please register a minimum of ten working days prior to the first class if you need such accommodations.
