- Tumble Time offers a complete physical fitness program throughout the school year at the LSU Child Care Center. Tumble Time is combination of developmental and motor sensory skills that focus on balance, coordination, and self-confidence making exercise and learning fun. This is a unique opportunity for your child to re-enforce physical skills, get a physical workout and most importantly have fun. Tumble Time is available to children 18 months and older.
$15 per month for 3, 30 minute, classes each month
- COMPUTERTOTS™ teaches children everything adults do on the computer, but at a child’s level. Your child will have the opportunity to learn basic operations, keyboard familiarization, and vocabulary specific to computer usage. The software used focuses on preschool skills, critical thinking skills and application software. COMPUTERTOTS™ is offered throughout the year for children ages 3 years and older.
Registration Fee - $15.00 which includes a T-Shirt for your child
Classes are $38 per month, $169 per semester or $335 for the whole year
- Spanish –Our resident teacher gives weekly lessons focusing on vocabulary to include colors, numbers, and common objects. The vocabulary is reinforced with songs, dances, projects and special events that require each child to apply the newly learned words. The LSU Child Care Center integrates bi-weekly Spanish lessons into the planned curriculum to children ages 18 months and older.
- ABC Music and MeŽ - ABC Music & MeŽ, created by Kindermusik International, brings music education to your at the LSU Child Care Center. Rather than adding to your family's weekly schedule, we strengthen your child's learning program on site with weekly music lessons. Your child will participate in a familiar environment with music educators and children she knows. ABC Music & MeŽ is available to children ages 18 months and older.
