Campus Access Site Team

Campus Access Site Team (CAST) – CAST is a committee composed of staff and students working to improve the physical access on campus. CAST serves to direct the expenditures of the Campus Access Fee funds (a $3.50 fee access to full-time students every spring semester). CAST reports to the Student Government President and the Chancellor. CAST was initiated in response to student complaints regarding the lack of access on campus. The goal of CAST is to assist the university in becoming more physically accessible in many cases going above and beyond the minimum ADAAG requirements.

Attention all LSU students! NAMI-LSU (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill) is a new student organization on the LSU campus that would like to invite all students who are interested in mental health awareness and mental health issues to attend its meetings.

NAMI-LSU works toward the eradication of the stigma associated with mental illness and provides information on illnesses such as schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, and depression. Through education NAMI-LSU hopes to increase student awareness and offer more opportunities for student involvement.
