The Office of Disability Services (ODS) provides various programs for students with disabilities. Programs that are offered include: Notetaking, Books on Tape, and Testing Accommodations.

Note Taking
ODS will provide Note taking accommodations for students with disabilities whose disability requires note taking as an accommodation. This program allows for students to have someone take notes for them to help aid them while preparing for various assignments that are due during the course of the semester. The student with a disability is required to attend class.

Books on Tape
ODS will provide books on tape for students who receive recorded textbooks as an accommodation. Books on tape are obtained from RFB&D, the State Library or are recorded by ODS readers. Students must submit a Books on Tape Request Form to the Programs Coordinator at B22 Johnston Hall. Located on the Books on Tape Request form is a place to indicate contact information that includes a local telephone number and an e-mail address in the event of questions or problems. Students are encouraged to submit the request form as soon as possible to facilitate timely receipt or recorded textbooks. Books on tape are the property of ODS and are to be returned the last day of finals for each semester. Students are responsible for any tapes that are not returned to ODS.
