 | Evangeline Hall
Evangeline Hall is the future home of the Basic Sciences Residential College (BASRC) beginning in fall 2009. BASRC is a scholarly community for first-year students pursuing a degree offered within the College of Basic Sciences, including; biochemistry, biological sciences, microbiology, chemistry, computer science, geology, or physics.
Built in the 1930s, Evangeline Hall features a large lobby area on the first floor and a game room in the basements, both of which are great for programming, social activities, or study groups. The second floor library offers residents a quiet area for studying. With its moderate size, Evangeline Hall is able to offer students opportunities to interact in a hall that they can truly call “home”.
