B. MISSION
The Union Theater is the performing arts facility for the campus. As such, it provides a home for the Great Performance Theater Series, the large LSU School of Music ensembles like the orchestra, wind and band ensembles, and the LSU Opera. It also serves as one of several venues for the Performing Artists Series, lectures, group meetings, and student orientations. There are several other smaller theaters on campus which are used primarily for the Department of Theatre’s productions or some of the smaller School of Music ensembles. |
