LSU Summer Reading Program: MeetAuthor

Lunch with Mr. Kidder or Dr. Farmer
Would you like to have lunch with Mr. Tracy Kidder, author of Mountains Beyond Mountains, or with Dr. Paul Farmer, A Man Who Would Cure the World? Eight entering freshman students will be invited to join either Mr. Kidder or Dr. Farmer for lunch on August 19 following the Academic Convocation and discussion groups. To show your interest, write a brief statement (no more than 250 words) about why you want to dine with either Mr. Kidder or Dr. Farmer, including three questions you'd hope to ask him. You may enter one or both contests. Entries should be submitted by midnight August 12. Be sure to include your full name and PAWS email address. Also, you must be registered, have completed a schedule, and have paid your fees by August 15. If your well-written entry is one selected by a panel of faculty members, you'll be notified by campus email (so check your PAWS account) by August 17 and given further instructions.
