TigerBytes is a personal file storage application funded by the Student Technology Fee and the Office of Computing Services. TigerBytes allows students to store and access their files from many computer labs on campus and through the web via their PAWS account. Each undergraduate and graduate student who is currently enrolled has 50 megabytes available to them through a H: or Home drive when they log on to a computer running Windows in one of the public labs at LSU. In addition, TigerBytes can be accessed through PAWS.
In order to gain access to your storage space,

1. Go to PAWS and reset or change your password. You can use the same password. This will synchronize your PAWS password with the password for your network access id and allow you access to your storage space. Once the password is synchronized, your storage can be accessed through workstations in College of Business, College of Engineering, and Public computer labs.

2. Logon to a Windows 2000 PC using "pawsid@lsu.edu" for your username and your PAWS password. Your storage space should appear as drive H: when you logon to Windows with your PAWS id and password. If you have difficulty in accessing your storage space, contact the OCS Help Desk.
OR
Access the TigerBytes web interface under the Student Services tab on your PAWS desktop.
