| BATON ROUGE – The E. J. Ourso College of Business has been ranked in the Top 50 of the internationally known “Top Business Schools” by Eduniversal and was recognized during the first ever Eduniversal World Convention, held last November. Eduniversal first placed the E. J. Ourso College of Business in its top 1,000 business schools worldwide ranking in October 2007. To develop its 1,000 top business schools ranking, Eduniversal focused on five criteria:
After it finished identifying the top 1,000 business schools worldwide in March 2008, Eduniversal then placed the schools into five leagues by their level of international importance and influence, using the following criteria:
The five leagues were first announced at the world convention in November 2008. Each league was allocated a number of palms, representing the five palms in Eduniversal’s logo, with schools in the top league receiving five palms. The E. J. Ourso College of Business received four palms, the designation for the “Top Business Schools” category, placing alongside institutions such as Boston College, Johns Hopkins University, Tulane University, Vanderbilt University, Wake Forest University, the University of Georgia and the College of William and Mary.
